The two-strands slab caster has a 9.5 m radius and produces slabs of 220, 250 and 300 mm thick and 1100 to 2300 mm wide.
ULC, LC, structural, peritectic, microalloyed, medium and high carbon steels are to be produced. The plant is located in Sao Goncalo de Amarante, Ceara, Brazil.
