Origin and Eminination of Surface Defects

Due to the occurrence of surface defects in steeel long products, two metallon consultants researched the issue, determining the origin of these defects, recommending measures to minimize it and taking part in the verification of the results obtained

The tasks included the search and visual lbservation of the defects in the wire rod coils; the follow;up of the behavior of the defective wire rods in several applications, as wire drawing and bright bar; recommendation od measures to be taken in order to minimize the defects, and verification of the results of the changes implemented in the process.
