metallon Instructors lectured a Course on Electric Steelmaking at a Steel Plant

Along three days, two metallon instructors lectured a course on Electric Steelmaking at a Steel plant. A particular feature of the event was the thorough discussion of practical operating issues and experiences.

The course was focused in the operation of the electric arc furnace, the ladle furnace and the billet caster. The attendance included operating leaders, shift heads, and process, maintenance, automation and quality engineers. Abundant didactic material was passed to the attendants for future reference
